About Argyle, Texas
Overview - Argyle is known in the throughout the area for excellent schools and a small-town country feel while still providing commutable access to Dallas, Fort Worth and particularly the Denton area of the Metroplex. Homes in Argyle for the most part are known to be on large lots and having a rural setting however there are some newer communities in smaller lot subdivisions like Canyon Falls and Harvest that are breaking this mold. Several homeowners in Argyle take advantage of their extra land by having horses and other livestock. There are many beautiful luxury homes on acreage in Argyle although the town does have a rather accessible price point of entry starting at around the mid $300,000's. Like many other North Texas suburbs, Argyle is going enduring rapid growth which is projected to continue over the next 10 years.
Schools - Argyle ISD is known for great academics and many athletic state titles. On GreatSchools.org, every Argyle school is rated a 10 - the highest rating. In addition to great public schools, Argyle is known for the highly renowned Liberty Christian School, a private Christian college prep school which serves students ranging from early childhood all the way up through high school. There are over 1300 attendees on the 76 acre campus just off HWY 377 in Argyle. The school offers a wide range of athletic programs as well for both boys and girls.
Entertainment - Argyle has few dining and entertainment choices however plenty of options aren't far away and over the next several years a great deal of new development is happening to change that with the upcoming Waterbrook development. Additionally, only minutes to the south are great dining options in Roanoke and not very far to the north - Denton offers a wide variety of dining and entertainment options.
